Testnet FAQ
1. How do I sign up to the Testnet?
It's very simple. Go to https://thepiggybank.co/ and connect your wallet. Once you have connected, you can begin receiving XP for completing tasks.
2. How long will the Testnet run for?
The Testnet will run until we finish receiving feedback and are ready for a strong Mainnet launch.
3. Where can I receive updates about the Testnet?
You can find all important updates across our PiggyBank social channels on Discord, X, and TG.
4. Do I need to claim Testnet ETH to participate?
You do NOT need Testnet ETH to participate in our Testnet. However, you will be at a disadvantage as those with Testnet ETH will be able to earn more XP which will affect your leaderboard position.
5. Where can I get Testnet ETH?
As mentioned in the "Getting Started" page of the Testnet section, you can get Testnet ETH on the Ethereum Sepolia faucet on Infura.
6. There is USDC on my dashboard. Is it real?
No, the USDC on your dashboard is not real. It’s testnet USDC provided by us for testing purposes. We’ll regularly supply you with more testnet USDC for making deposits, just make sure you have testnet ETH to get started.
7. What is XP and why is it important?
XP or experience represents the value that you have contributed to our Testnet. You can gain XP from a range of tasks from something as simple as logging in consistently, opening Lootboxes, social engagement and reporting bugs.
8. Can you tell us more about the airdrop?
At this time we're not ready to disclose what the airdrop will consist of, but don't worry, we'll ensure that our biggest contributors are properly compensated for helping us out during our Testnet phase.
